With our broad unit protection portfolio you can realize motor, line & short-circuit protection solutions from basic to advanced.
Our bi-metal relays, the well-known PKZ, PKE and NZM, have the right solutions for your motor protection up to 1400 A and from simple overload and phase failure protection up to data collection and communication.
With the Bussmann fuses, FAZs, PKE and NZM portfolio, line and short-circuit protection up to 6300 A is possible without and even with remote re-enabling as well as data collection and communication.
E-Stop & Sensors
Eaton also offers you a wide range of E-Stops and sensors. With our E-Stops you can ensure the safe switch-off of your compressor in emergency cases.
SmartWire-DT uvnitř i vně rozváděče - SmartWire-DT zajišťuje nejen optimalizované propojení uvnitř rozváděče, ale lze jej použít i k integraci komponent v terénu prostřednictvím modulu kabelové vývodky rozváděče (SWD4-SFL8-12). Místo páskového kabelu, který se používá uvnitř rozváděče, se komponenty v poli připojují pomocí standardního 5pólového kulatého kabelu.
Automation
Eaton's easyE4 provides efficient support for every compressor type and comes with a large number of inputs and outputs that can be easily expanded by means of additional I/O modules. Furthermore, you can choose between a basic remote display and a powerful XV100 for an appealing visualization. For advanced compressor applications our XV300 and XN300 ensure an intuitive operation and make your compressors IIOT ready. Safety relays round off our automation offer.
Pressure control – continuous control
Eaton's DM1 Pro and DG1 variable frequency drives are the perfect duo for efficient continuous pressure control of your compressors, whether you are using asynchronous or permanent-magnet-motors.
The PowerXL DM1 variable frequency drive (up to 22 kW) combines maximum functionality with a small footprint. It can be used wherever space is limited but the functionality of a standard universal drive is nevertheless required, for example in compressor applications. Single-phase and three-phase versions are available.
The PowerXL DG1 variable speed drives (up to 630 kW) are specifically designed for modern, demanding applications: Thanks to their patented energy-saving algorithm, high short-circuit ratings and rugged design, they offer increased efficiency, safety and reliability, with additional circuit-board protection (conformal coated) for aggressive environments.
Pressure control – two-point control
Our motor starters & contactors portfolio provides you everything you need for a two-point control or an operation without control including all relevant approvals.
Motor starters are an energy-efficient solution for compressors running at a constant pressure rate, as their power consumption is much lower than that of variable frequency drives. In applications with variable flow rates and constant base loads, it is therefore advisable to consider using motor starters.
Eaton's portfolio includes the conventional PKZM motor starter with bimetallic strip and the PKE electronic motor starter up to 32 A. For applications in the higher power range, we offer the combination of the NZM with the DILM, for example as a star-delta starter.
